Many times Layla had envied the O'Sheas' closeness and sense of family. Living with Pop was sometimes lonely, and she longed for brothers and sisters. However, the O'Shea siblings toed Bernie's straight line, while Layla often wandered down the road toward trouble, so their paths rarely crossed more than casually.
Now, she had literally landed in the middle of the O'Shea's house, and her envy surfaced once again.
