"If you are looking for a series that keeps you on the edge, wondering what will happen next, wondering how an author created a jaw-dropping, heart-stopping book. Then look no further. Genie has created that with this series." --Bunnies Review

3 DAYS UNTIL LAUNCH

Woo-hoo! The excitement is nearing fever pitch! Well, maybe it's just me sliding further into insanity. :)

4 DAYS UNTIL LAUNCH!

Wait, wouldn't it be great to...

I'm grateful my creative mind comes up with so many wonderful ideas! Sorting through ideas for the best ones and then focusing on them--that's the challenge for me. I tend to get sidetracked on "bright and shiny" new ideas before I finish the ones in progress. But I'm working on that!

I have one more Web page to finish, and almost have all my LEGACY blog posts done for March--information that will give you insights into the characters and the small town of Halo in the series, as well as let you know where I'll be appearing online.

Through these online appearances, I hope we get to know each other better. However, I do ask for your patience as I am one of those people who has to psych myself up for social conversations or I fade into a darkened corner. Unless I'm talking about writing or designing book covers or comparing notes with other dog lovers. Then I have a tendency to rattle on and on. LOL! I'm also working on finding a balance between hiding out and over-talking. :)

I also would like to know what you want to see on my LEGACY blog. I'll introduce you to the O'Shea family and we can spend Sunday at Tallie's for dinner. You'll also get to see some of their pets, find out more about Halo and its townspeople, and see if the "bad guys" are all bad.

I'm also lining up guest authors in April who have series of books you might like. There will be a formal survey at the end of March on what you want to see, but you don't have to wait until then. Just leave a comment and let me know what else you'd like to see about my LEGACY series. Thank you so much!

6 DAYS UNTIL LAUNCH!

Still working on Web updates and blog posts for the month of March. I'm very pleased with the progress!

I just uploaded a timeline in pictures page to my Genie Gabriel Web site for the first book of the series, PICTURE PERFECT LEGACY. Take a peek if you'd like.

7 DAYS UNTIL LAUNCH!

One week and counting!

Just a couple tweaks to the LEGACY pages on my Web site to do before the March 1 launch. The main LEGACY page is now posted if you want to take a look. The covers for the first four books of the series are up, and I'll add excerpts and info about the characters later, so there will be more pages on the way!

You'll get to know the O'Shea matriarch, Tallie, and the seven brothers better as the series progresses. For now, I'm giving Marly and Dawson of PICTURE PERFECT LEGACY their time in the spotlight.

A sigh of relief flowed through Marly's body, brought up short by the sudden reappearance of the man beside her vehicle. Many times her brothers scolded her for being too trusting. Narrow hips and long legs snugly encased in worn blue jeans could belong to a serial killer as easily as a white knight.

"Step out while I check your vehicle for damage." A jagged scar over the man's right eyebrow gleamed as he reached for her door handle.

Every murder mystery she read as a teenager gave the bad guy a scar. She wasn't taking any chances. Adrenaline pumped through Marly's body once again as she leveled the taser at the man's chest. "Stop right there."

So maybe their first meeting wasn't exactly, ahem, a love fest. But they have an entire story to negotiate their happily-ever-after. :)

9 DAYS UNTIL LAUNCH!

Yesterday I sent invitations to my online launch party, asking other authors if they would like to extend launch greetings in the form of a book cover and link to find out more info. I've already received some responses with beautiful covers!

My goal is to have these covers and links posted by launch day: March 1. What fun!

10 DAYS UNTIL LAUNCH!

Do not panic! That has become my mantra. This past week, I sent the manuscript and cover of book #4 of my LEGACY series to my publisher. I also did some last minute tweaks to the font on the cover of book #1. Made edits to book #2. Am waiting for comments from the publisher's first reader on book #3.

Do you also see a pattern of working on several books at once? And there are at least nine books in this series that will be released every two months starting March 1. And by the way, I have to get the word out that these books are available. Promote, promote, promote. Gulp! What have I done?

While the drama queen piece of myself has a meltdown in the corner, my more practical self emerges once more. I have done what has been planned for quite some time. I have lived with the O'Shea family characters and the citizens of the fictional town of Halo, Oregon for several years. We have shared death-defying adventures and emotional traumas and deep soul searching. We have discovered love in unexpected places and struggled to forgive the acts of people who strike out with abuse or cruelty or vengeance. Always searching for the road of integrity. Seeking the truth obscured with good intentions gone astray.

Now it's almost time to share the lives and adventures of the O'Shea family. People I'd be proud to call best friends. People who may stumble, but never fail to get up. People who may disagree with what you say, but will cover your back when the bad guys kick in your door.

We're sweeping the sidewalks, preparing a special dinner, and putting out the mat that says, "Welcome to Halo."

I hope you will accept our invitation.
