13th Annual Chainsaw Sculpting Championships
June 14-17, 2012, Reedsport, OR
The award winning event takes place in "The Chainsaw Capital of Oregon" over Fathers Day. Chainsaw artists from around the world take "art to the extreme." Antique Tractor & Engine Show
June 16 & 17, 2012, in Pottsville, OR (near Merlin in Southern Oregon)
Pottsville  was founded by Debbs Potts in 1959. It is home to thousands of items commemorating Oregon's history, from its legislative halls to the local logging woods.   1. Small town celebrations, very interesting. My in laws used to go to lots of antique Tractor and Engine shows. Years ago there was one near Salem. They drove over from Bend. I think my now 26 year old son was about 2.

  2. Hi, Chris! Antique Powerland out by Brooks has an antique tractor and engine show every year. I just looked it up at their Web site and it's called the Great Oregon Steam-Up. This year it's July 28&29 and August 4&5. I may go this year and get some ideas for the next story featuring Uncle Horace the inventor. :)
