ROCHELLE WYMER--EMT
"Come on, Charlie. Breathe, dammit, breathe." EMT Rochelle Wymer counted rapidly as she compressed Charlie's chest, then paused while her partner squeezed air through the ventilator and into his lungs. There were definite disadvantages of ambulance runs to her small hometown of Halo. Every call meant someone she knew could be hurt or dying.
ROCHELLE WYMER--SINGLE MOM WITH GUILT
"It's perfect," Rochelle declared when she got home from her shift. "Good shopping, girlfriend."
Ariel slapped a high-five with her mother and shot Johnny an I-told-you-so look. "By the way, Mama, I have a loose tooth, just like you said I would."
"That's good. Be sure to put it under your pillow when it comes out so the Tooth Fairy will find it."
"I will. Don't forget to have a dollar handy." Then Ariel sauntered off to watch her princess movie--her down-time activity for the evening.
ROCHELLE WYMER--A "SISTER" BY DEED
As Sally Harris lunged at Beth, the "sisters" closed in. Using the edge of her hand, Rochelle hatchet chopped the woman's wrist, causing her to drop the knife, which Layla kicked away. Marly tossed a tablecloth over the woman's head and Rochelle kicked the side of Sally's knee, dropping her to the floor like a tree falling in the forest.
